Welcome to Hough End Model Aircraft Club web site

If you're a big kid who's never grown up properly. If you never got that Spitfire Rubber Band model to fly when you were a young whipper snapper, or if you just want to get away from the wife and spend a peaceful afternoon or morning listening to grown men going on about axial thrust, tuck under and dropped wings - then this is the club for you.

Flying Times
Flying times are organised among the members, with the main flying on Sunday's at 9:00 am for those of us on the retirement waiting lists {can't wait}, but for those lucky buggers already retired they can while away the hours on any day of the week. In particular, regular sessions are held at 10:00 am on Wednesdays and 12:30 pm on Fridays.

Indoor Flying for the Winter Months
The indoor flying season is now over for and will start again in October. You can read more about indoor fly-ins here. It's a lot of fun and it's worth thinking about what you'll be flying well in advance so you can perfect your planes on calm summer evenings.
