If you're a big kid who's never grown up properly. If
you never got that Spitfire Rubber Band model to fly when you were
a young whipper snapper, or if you just want to get away from the wife
and spend a peaceful afternoon or morning listening to grown men going
on about axial thrust, tuck under and dropped wings - then this is
the
club for you.

Based in Manchester
We fly from Hough
End Playing Fields near Chorlton and have a wide range of members
from all walks of life. We even have our own Bishop for members requiring
spiritual guidance.
Flying Times
Flying times are organised among the members, with
the main flying on Sunday's at 9:00 am for those of us on the
retirement waiting lists {can't wait}, but for those lucky buggers
already retired
they can while away the hours on any day of the week.
Join Us
If you're interested in joining, the best idea is to come and introduce
yourself on Sunday morning around 9am. Bring a model to show off if
you have one working. Alternatively, you can email
our secretary.
Indoor
Flying for the Winter Months
The indoor flying season is now over for and will start again in October.
You can read more about indoor fly-ins
here.
It's a lot of fun and it's worth thinking about what you'll be flying
well in advance so you can perfect your planes on calm summer evenings. |
